Photographer Ryan Rogers tiptoes through a nightmare of heartbreak in search of a sprouting dream. His photos for Gavin Castleton’s latest album Home suck you into an eerie world where absolute demise is every beginning.
Rogers sets himself apart with his use of light and his wild, conceptual imagination. His expertise in lighting comes from his work at Sony Imageworks, where his role as Lighting and Compositing Technical Director can be seen in films such as Eagle Eye, Speed Racer, I Am Legend, Spider-Man 3, Open Season and Monster House. He is currently working on G-Force.
The exterior photos were shot on location in Santa Barbara. The interiors were shot at Rogers’ home studio. His weapon of choice is the Canon EOS 40D.
